Arlington Hockey Club Code of Conduct

The Arlington Hockey Club Code of Conduct is strict and serious in our sport. All people associated with the game are always expected to act with sportsmanship, dignity, and respect for others. This includes coaches, parents, players and referees, and applies both at the rink and elsewhere, outside of the rink.

Poor sportsmanship includes:

  • Arguing with coaches, officials, teammates, opponents or spectators
  • Using threatening or profane language
  • Baiting or taunting coaches, officials, teammates, opponents or spectators
  • Unsafe play
  • Uncontrolled behavior in the bench area

Poor sportsmanship will carry, at a minimum, the following consequences:

  • First Offense:    Verbal warning
  • Second Offense:    Dismissal from the game
  • Third Offense:    Dismissal from the next game
  • Fourth Offense:    Dismissal from the team

Any physical contact or material damage with coaches, officials, teammates, opponents or spectators, or their property, not associated with appropriate game play or practices may be grounds for dismissal and further action.

We, parent(s) and player, have discussed the Arlington Hockey Club of Conduct and agree to abide by it. We understand that there is no refund or recourse for dismissal from our program as a consequence of breaking this Code of Conduct.

COVID-19 Policies

AHC COVID-19 policies were distributed by email.  If needed, please contact AHC's COVID Safety Director, Bruce Newell (  It's very important that AHC members follow all COVID policies to maintain the health and safety of players, coaches, families and the community.  Repeated failures to follow COVID policies may result in dismissal from your team.

Sibling Discount
AHC offers a third (and subsequent) sibling discount to full-time players of 50% (of the least expensive tuition) after two full-time skating siblings.

Goalie Discount
AHC offers a $500 rate for any full-time goalie that plays in the Inter-city Travel (Squirts, Peewees, Bantams, Midgets) or Girls Travel Program (U10, U12, U14). Part-time (skates out as well, e.g., in Mites) goalies pay full tuition at all levels.

Alternate Players
Alternate players on a boys or girls travel team pay full travel tuition and are allowed to practice, offered skills and play in games when needed (determined by the head coach) and are allowed to participate in the In-house program.

Game only Players
Part-time (game only) players will be considered in the event a team is in need of filling a roster spot(s).  Tuition is 50%. All payments must be paid in full upon registration.  A full team is usually considered 15 Skaters and no more than 2 Goalies, but may depend on USA Hockey designations for a given plyaing level.  The player is not eligible for practices or skills.
