Congratulations to AHC's Mite A1 team on Winning the Winter Classic!!

Congratulations to the AHC Mite A1 team on winning the 2025 Winter Classic Tournament! The bracket featured 4 Mites teams including Watertown and 2 teams from Winchester. After 2 hard fought battles to start the round robin session the AHC Mite team was 0-1-1. Thanks to a total team effort in their final game, stout defense throughout the tournament, and strong goalie play by Libby Tagupa, Jack Moscatel, and Alexis Chaulet the AHC A1 Mites reached the championship game based on second tie-breaker (fewest goals allowed).

The final game was back and forth action with AHC and Winchester trading goals eventually ending in a 2-2 tie. After an exciting but scoreless 4 additional minutes of 3v3 action, the Mites 3 bracket championship was decided by a shootout. Alexis Chaulet was strong in net and Jack Spadafora and Teddy Lewis scored for AHC, leading AHC Mites A1 to a 2-1 shootout win! Everyone on the team showed resilience and worked hard contributing to the team's success in the tournament!!

Congratulations AHC Bantams on Winning the 2025 Winter Classic Tournament!!

Congratulations to the AHC Bantam team on winning the 2025 Winter Classic Tournament!!  The tournament featured four very evenly matched teams in Lexington-Bedford, South Boston, and St. Agnes School, which competed in a jamboree-style tournament with a series of 22-minute games.  The AHC Bantams started the round-robin play very slowly, going 0-2-1 in the first three games, which were all closely contested battles.  However, in the single elimination portion of the tournament, the team pulled together to bury South Boston, 7-1 in the semi-final, led by Dante Cusanno in net, and Sri Yarlagadda and Loki Ranta up-front.  In the Championship game, AHC and SAS traded goals in regulation, then went into a 3v3 overtime, where Luke Palmteer scored the game winner, going 5-hole on a rush from the outside!  Everyone on the team contributed to the success in the tournament and showed a lot of resilience in persevering through the Championship game!!

U10 Girls Punch their Ticket to the MA State Tournament!!!

Congrats to the U10B Girls for winning the District 9 Championship and punching their ticket to the state tournament, dismantling Belmont by a score of 8-0. It was a total team effort, anchored by smothering defensive play from Hazel Haines, Kat Rothemeyer, Simone McBride, and Ellie Callow in front of a shutout performance by Shay Stewart. The offense was paced by player-of-the-game Bailey Kerr who scored an early hat trick to set the tone. Offensive contributions and outstanding 200-ft game from forwards Payton Corsino, Elizabeth Doyle, Claire Keating, Caroline Simmons, Maeve Wenz, and Sylvie Melendez pressured Belmont all night long and built an insurmountable lead. This team never let up and pushed themselves to victory — on to States!

Congratulations Peewee AAA Team on Falmouth Championship!!

Congratulations to the AHC Peewee-AAA team on winning the championship of the Falmouth Tournament!!  The Arlington Peewee AAAs capped an outstanding weekend in the Falmouth by repeating as Peewee champions! The team delivered a dominant performance, going undefeated throughout. They faced a significant challenge from a tough host, Falmouth, whom they defeated twice, including in the fiercely contested final game. The road to the championship saw the team also handle Weymouth and Natick. While a true team effort, goalie Fionn Glynn was instrumental, coming up with key saves in net all weekend. In Sunday’s final, the early momentum was sparked by Coach Moscatel’s rousing pre-game speech, which amped the team for the matchup before it even started, and the defining moment came from Brendan Lahey’s game-winning backhand goal with just 28 seconds left on the clock to secure the 4-3 victory. Congrats to all involved, including the parents who, as always, provided an MVP performance all weekend at the Lantern Room.

Joining the Peewees at the tournament were the Mite-AAA team, Mite A1 team, Squirt-AAA team, and Bantam-AAA teams.  Both the Mite A1 and Bantam-AAA teams made the Championship games of their respective tournaments, with all teams representing Arlington well throughout the tournament weekend.
