Congratulations U8 Girls on Snow Angels Classic Victory!!!

At the beginning of this weekend, a small group of U8 girls representing 4 Mite teams and Arlington girls hockey traveled down to Taunton, MA for the Snow Angels Classic to participate in the U8 Flurry’s Division. With 8 skaters and a rotating goalie, they finished pool play with a record of two wins and one loss. A three way tie between the top three teams lead to Arlington qualifying for finals against Dorchester. Arlington had a tough first half with against a very strong Dorchester goalie only getting one goal on the board despite many shots on net and three goals deficit. The girls stayed strong and continued to rally fighting back to tie the game and at 16:55 in the second half Claire Keating scored the game winning goal to clinch the victory for Arlington with a final score of 4-3. Congratulations to all the girls who represented Arlington and came away with the championship: Harper Anderson, Sofia Bonfiglio, Rachel Choi, Payton Corsino, Elizabeth Doyle, Althea Hammer, Claire Keating, Mia Rocchio, and Maeve Wenz!
