AHC/Sports Etc. Learn to Play
This program is hosted by AHC and sponsored by Sport Etc. and the Brent Williams Fund with the aim of introducing new players and families to the game of hockey. The Learn to Play program is only open to new families who are not currently, or formerly, registered with AHC. This program is free of charge to participants (who must be Arlington residents), and selected equipment and sticks will be provided by Sports Etc. with support from the Brent Williams Fund.
Ages
Players must be between 5 years old (born by 10/01/2018) and 7 years old (born by 11/05/2016) to participate in this program.
When
This program will take place on Fridays, starting at the end of September and continuing to the end of October.
Where
All sessions will take place at Ed Burns Rink in Arlington, MA.
Format
Each session is 50 minutes and will begin with a short warm-up, followed by 15 - 20 minutes of skills practice, and 20 minutes of small area games.
